In Person Treatments

Aromatherapy involves a gentle, relaxing massage which concentrates on soothing muscles, stimulating pressure points and lymphatic drainage which helps to detoxify the body. As the name suggests Aromatherapy uses the aroma of essential oils to aid the healing process and relaxation. These can be blended to create a unique massage oil to suit your individual needs.

Swedish Massage also aids relaxation and lymphatic drainage but concentrates on releasing tension in tired, sore muscles. It is a much firmer massage and gives the whole body a muscular work out!

The word Reiki means 'Universal Energy' and it is treatment that uses this Universal Energy to balance the body and again promote self healing. It is carried out with the client fully clothed and usually lying down although sitting up is an option. By balancing the body's natural energies many physical and emotional symptoms can be alleviated.

Reflexology is a therapy involving the feet (or hands). Reflexes on the feet, which correspond to parts of the body and its organs, are massaged and stimulated to aid energy flow throughout the body and promote a sense of well being. Many of our physical ailments are a result of our bodies being 'out of balance'. This therapy works wonders with re-balancing the body to function more easily and to self heal .

Indian Head Massage is a very popular massage which can be done while the client is sitting down. Adapted from its ancient roots to suit the needs of today's modern lifestyle, it concentrates on releasing tension from the neck and shoulders before working on the pressure points and built up tension in the head, scalp and face. Indian Head Massage is particularly beneficial to those suffering from headaches, migraines and tinnitus.

Facial Rejuvenation Massage is my most asked for therapy. It provides a holistic face massage using pressure points and energy lines to once again balance the body which provides the client with a tremendous feeling of relaxation and a sense of well being. In addition to this, it 'plumps up' the natural collagen and elasticity of the face to provide what can only be described as a natural facelift!

Crystal/Colour Therapy have both proved very effective when treating clients and I often incorporate these into my therapies. Both can be used to balance the body's chakras and bring ease to specific areas.
